AISHONANZUKA is pleased to announce two solo show with Cary Kwok from UK and Kazuma Kokike from Japan at the same time.

Cary Kwok was born in 1975 Hong Kong and graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, studying fashion at BA and MA.
A fascination with fashion, period costumes, footwear and sexuality forms the nucleus of Kwok’s subject matter, the diversity of styles and street fashion of London as well as period films also influence him greatly. Subjects range from explicit male nudes to period portraits and still lifes. Hairstyles and shoes are among his favoured subjects with work often subtly alluding to issues of race, ethnicity, culture, gender and sexual equality.
Cary has recently presented exhibitions such as “Beyond the Bushes Vol.1” Art Sablon(Brussels,2019), “Drawn Together Again” The FLAG Art Foundation(New York,2019) ”Impulse Control” Freedman Fitzpatrick(Paris,2018), “Bloody Life” Supportico Lopez in collaboration with Herald St(London,2018),solo show, Herald St(London,2016) “Takashi Murakami’s Superflat Collection-From Shohaku and Rosanjin to Anselm Kiefer” Yokohama Museum of Art, (Yokohama,2016),”SFW” Forward Assembly(Hong Kong,2016)


Kazuma Koike was born in 1980 Japan and Graduated from Department of Sculpture, College of Art at Nihon University.
Koike well known that creates a new visual experience by collageing images that are separated form the original context such as a surrealist artists.
this exhibition will be 3rd solo exhibition in Hong Kong since the previous show in the 2016 (http://www.aishonanzuka.com/18_kazumakoike.html) and features new drawings on paper rendered in color inks, and ceramic sculptures with installation style.
