Aishonanzuka is pleased to announce “Dldap/Enogo/Auxar/Dgaen”, an exhibition by Yoshihiro Kikuchi running from June 24 to July 23. This exhibition will be Kikuchi’s second solo presentation in Hong Kong. The title of this show, “Dldap/Enogo/Auxar/Dgaen” is coined from the keywords for this exhibition, “DEAD” “LANGUAGE” “DOXA” “PORN” which also show the process of Kikuchi’s creations.

Kikuchi’s works focuses on ‘deconstructing specific human characteristics’. Making drawings converted from authorless erotic novels without any subjective judgement of the artist, his work explores our limited perception using shocking photos of corps or porn. In contrast to those works, Kikuchi also examines his subjective beliefs and sensory perceptions with collages using found objects and paintings. Kikuchi has been presenting works that coherently verify his theme from every aspect, from material and the creating process, to its image.
In this exhibition, the contrast of ideas of each work stands out, having the four keywords in its center of concept.

Kikuchi said that to deconstruct the terms “DEAD” “LANGUAGE” “DOXA” “PORN” as a subject of specific human characteristics is a way to deny human nature and to deeply commit to one of human’s most advanced forms of idea, art.

Yoshihiro Kikuchi was born in 1980 in Miyagi and currently works in Miyagi and Tokyo. Recent exhibitions includes “VOCA”, Ueno Royal Museum (Tokyo, 2016) “process” CMAE (Asturias, 2015) “Solo exhibition” AUTOCENTER (Berlin, 2015) “GoldenEyes” AISHONANZUKA (Hong Kong, 2015) “Ethical Split/ Aesrhetic Void" AISHONANZUKA (Hong Kong, 2013).
The artist will be visiting Hong Kong for the exhibition, and an opening reception with the artist will be held on June 24 (Friday) starting at 5pm.




AISHONANZUKA 將於六月二十四日至七月二十三日舉行菊池良博在香港的第二次個人展覽《 Dldap/Enogo/Auxar/Dgaen 》，是次展覽題目正是取自菊池創作過程的關鍵詞：「DEAD」、「LANGUAGE」、「DOXA」、「PORN」。

菊地的作品集中探討「人類特性的解構」。從佚名情色小說轉化為不帶個人主觀思想地創作繪畫，他的作品開啓了觀者對駭人屍體及色情照片的另一觀感。相對之下，菊池亦運用拼貼現成物和繪畫的方式審視自己的個人信念及感知，從作品的物料選取、創作過程及圖像展示等各方面中均清晰體現了展覽主題。是次展覽透過圍繞四個關鍵詞的概念，對照出每份作品意念的差異。

菊地認為解構人類特性的關鍵詞：「DEAD」、「LANGUAGE」、「DOXA」、「PORN」，是對人性本質的否定方式，亦是對人類其一最高層面的思考形式——「藝術」之投入途徑。

アイショウナンヅカでは6月24日から7月23日まで菊地良博の香港２度目となる個展”Dldap/Enogo/Auxar/Dgaen”を開催いたします。タイトルに使われている単語は作家の主題でもあるキーワード「DEAD」「LANGUAGE」「DOXA」「PORN」4つの単語の組み合わせからなる造語で、作品制作の過程を模したものとなっています。

菊地はこれまでの展示において、「人間固有の性質を脱構築していく」というテーマを元に、作者不明の官能小説を主観的な判断に頼らない形でドローイングに変換した作品や、目を覆いたくなるような死体写真やポルノ画像を加工し知覚の限界点をさぐるような作品、そしてそれらと対比される形で、主観的信念や感覚的知覚から成るファウンドオブジェクトによるコラージュやペインティングなど、ビジュアルのイメージだけではなく素材の選定や制作過程にまでおいてもその一貫したテーマを反映させながら、全方位的に検証するような作品を発表してきました。
本展ではタイトルのキーワードとなる４つの単語を中心に据えつつ、それぞれの作品が相克されます。

人間固有の問題として「DEAD」「LANGUAGE」「DOXA」「PORN」これらのキーワードを脱構築していくことは、すなわち「人間性の否定」であり、そしてまた人間のみがもつ概念のうちもっとも高度なもののひとつである「美術」へ深くコミットするための方策でもあると菊地はいいます。
